Lindy Woods is the owner and Chief Instructor of Dunamis Karate, with locations in Ridgeland and Hampton, South Carolina. She began her martial arts journey in 1993 training in the Chuck Norris System, earning her 1st Degree Black Belt in 1997. In 2001, she opened Dunamis Karate in Ridgeland, followed by a second location in Hampton in 2016.
Mrs. Woods holds a 7th Degree Black Belt in the Chuck Norris System and a 4th Degree Black Belt in UFAF Krav Maga. She currently serves as the UFAF Region 7 Chair, is a member of the UFAF Communication Team, and is part of the UFAF Krav Maga Alpha Team, contributing to leadership, curriculum development, and instructor advancement within the organization.
A highly respected instructor and presenter, Lindy has been a multiple-time Guest Instructor at the UFAF and CKD International Training Conferences in Las Vegas. She has earned numerous professional honors, including Instructor of the Year, Certified Professional Martial Artist, and the prestigious Wieland Norris Award, presented by Chuck Norris and Aaron Norris.
In addition to her instructional leadership, Mrs. Woods is an accomplished competitor, earning Senior Female Sparring Grand Champion, Senior Weapons Grand Champion, and Senior Competitor of the Year honors at the UFAF ITC. She continues to pursue personal excellence through advanced training, including the Hyper Black Belt Program, while remaining deeply committed to developing confident, disciplined students and empowering instructors through leadership and communication.

Andi Woods is a Master Instructor at Dunamis Karate and has dedicated her life to the martial arts. She began training in the Chuck Norris System at the age of three and has spent more than two decades refining her skills as a competitor, instructor, and leader.
Andi holds a 6th Degree Black Belt in the Chuck Norris System, a 4th Degree Black Belt in UFAF Krav Maga, and is a Hyper Black Belt Level 2. From an early age, she played a vital role in the daily operation of Dunamis Karate, serving as Master Woods’ “right hand” and assisting with introductory and regular classes beginning around age five. She progressed through years of leadership development as a SWAT Team member and later through STORM Team training, ultimately stepping into a full-time instructional role.
Today, Andi teaches traditional martial arts, Krav Maga, and leads the Hyper Pro Training Program. She is also available for private lessons. Her professionalism, clarity, and ability to connect with students have resulted in an increasing number of invitations to serve as a guest instructor and seminar leader for schools and organizations across the UFAF network.
A fierce competitor and passionate martial arts tricking athlete, Andi is known for her relentless pursuit of excellence. Her competitive résumé includes multiple Grand Champion titles across forms, weapons, and sparring, as well as repeated honors as Female Competitor of the Year at the UFAF International Training Conference. In 2019, she was selected to serve on the UFAF Training & Development Committee, contributing to instructor education and program growth.
Beyond the mat, Andi is an aspiring musician and worship leader, embodying discipline, humility, and leadership in every area of her life. She is widely regarded as a powerful role model for students of all ages and continues to inspire others through her commitment to personal growth, faith, and martial arts excellence.



DJ Daring is a Lead Instructor at Dunamis Karate and a lifelong student of the martial arts. He began training at Dunamis Karate at the age of eight, quickly developing a strong work ethic and deep respect for the discipline. From the beginning, DJ approached his training with focus and seriousness, laying the foundation for his growth as both a martial artist and instructor.
As he progressed through the ranks, DJ became a member of the SWAT Team, assisting with classes and developing his leadership skills. His dedication, consistency, and technical ability led him to take on increasing responsibility, ultimately earning him the role of Lead Instructor where he now plays a key role in student development and daily instruction.
DJ holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in the Chuck Norris System and is a Level 5 (1st Degree Black Belt) Certified UFAF Krav Maga Instructor. His greatest passion lies in combatives, self-defense, and ground skills, where he excels at teaching practical, functional techniques designed for real-world application.
Known for his disciplined approach and commitment to high standards, Mr. DJ is deeply invested in helping students build confidence, resilience, and real self-defense capability. He continues to train and grow as an instructor, embodying the values and culture of Dunamis Karate both on and off the mat.
